Parking Your GoCar
GoCar operates a “return to base” service, which means the vehicle must be returned to the same GoBase where your trip started.
To find the correct location, tap “Return to GoBase” on the map screen in the app, which will guide you back to the designated parking spot.
Parking During Your Trip
If you park the vehicle during your trip, it is your responsibility to ensure it is parked legally.
If you are parking in a pay-and-display or ticketed area, you must make sure the correct parking fee has been paid. Always check local signage and parking rules before leaving the vehicle.

🚫 Do not park in the following locations:
- Loading bays
- Bus lanes
- Single yellow lines
- Double yellow lines
- Disabled parking spaces
- Clearways
- E-car charging bays (unless the vehicle is plugged in and charging)
- Cycle lanes
If Your GoCar Is Clamped
If the vehicle is clamped due to illegal parking, the clamping charge will be passed on to you.
A minimum €30 call-out fee will also apply to arrange the vehicle’s release. 🚗
