What are GoCars Golden Rules?
Please respect your fellow members by following these Golden Rules:
- 📸 Report any damage in the app when starting your trip.
- ⏰ Return the vehicle on time to avoid impacting the next member’s booking.
- 📍 Return the vehicle to the same GoBase where your trip started.
- 🧹 Keep the vehicle clean — take your rubbish with you and no smoking or pets in the vehicle.
- ⛽🔋 Refuel/recharge before returning — the fuel tank should be at least ¼ full, or the EV battery at least 25% charged.
- 🅿️ Park legally at all times — never park in clearways, loading bays, or bus lanes.
Following the Golden Rules helps keep vehicles available, clean, and ready for the next member, and avoids penalties that may apply if the rules are not followed.
